These Terms and Conditions govern the purchase of symbolic olive tree adoption services and products via the website adoptyourolive.com, managed by Adopt Your Olive di Michele Ezio de Sinno, with registered office at Via Morgagni, 84, 71016 San Severo (FG), Italy, VAT ID 04563000712. Email: info@adoptyourolive.com.

1. Subject of the Contract & Services Offered

1.1. Classic Adoptions: This contract governs the purchase of the "Symbolic Adoption" service of an olive tree for a duration of 12 (twelve) months. The adoption is a sponsorship aimed at supporting sustainable agricultural practices.

1.2. Core Benefits (Classic Adoptions): Every adoption includes:

• Physical Welcome Certificate and Tree Photo.
• Physical Club Card containing a unique Member ID.
• Periodic email updates regarding the grove's status.

1.3. Available Packages: The classic service is sold in combination with Extra Virgin Olive Oil (EVOO) in the following formats:

• Welcome Kit: Includes the Adoption Service + 2 Bottles (0.50L each) of EVOO.
• Reserve Kit: Includes the Adoption Service + 4 Bottles (0.50L each) of EVOO.
• Family Kit: Includes the Adoption Service + 4 Bottles (0.50L each) and 1 Tin (3L) of EVOO.

All kits include custom labels personalized with the name provided by the customer.

1.4. Solidarity Adoptions: We offer a 100% digital adoption for charitable purposes. The customer receives digital certificates and a digital Club Card. 80% of the proceeds from this service are directly donated to the non-profit organization A.G.A.P.E. (Associazione Genitori e Amici Piccoli Emopatici), with registered office at c/o Poliambulatorio “Giovanni Paolo II”, Viale Padre Pio 7/d, 71013 - San Giovanni Rotondo (FG), Italy, Tax ID 94015560710. Due to its charitable nature and immediate digital delivery, this service does not include physical goods.

1.5. La Bottega & VIP Club: "La Bottega" is our online pantry offering tasting boxes and extra EVOO supplies. Customers who hold an active adoption (Classic or Solidarity) can use their Member ID to access reserved VIP pricing. The Member ID is strictly personal.

1.6. Corporate & Special Events (Favors): We offer customized solutions for weddings and corporate gifts. These orders are subject to specific quotes and agreements concluded via email. For every customized Favor or Corporate bottle sold, Adopt Your Olive donates 1€ to A.G.A.P.E..

1.7. The shipping timing of physical goods, particularly Olive Oil, is regulated as detailed in the Shipping and Returns page and constitutes an integral part of this contract.

2. Conclusion of the Contract

2.1. The contract is concluded when Adopt Your Olive receives the payment and sends an Order Confirmation email.

2.2. We reserve the right to refuse orders that are incomplete or if the product is temporarily unavailable.

3. Duration and Renewal

3.1. The adoption (Classic or Solidarity) is valid for 12 months from the date of purchase.

3.2. There is no automatic renewal. You will be invited to renew voluntarily via email before expiration.

4. Prices and Payments

4.1. Prices are in Euros (€) and include VAT and EU shipping costs, unless otherwise indicated.

4.2. Payments are processed securely via Stripe. Details are specified on the checkout page.

5. Shipping

5.1. We ship via tracked couriers. Delivery times depend on the courier. Details on times, costs, and methods are on the Shipping and Returns page.

6. Right of Withdrawal

6.1. Standard Goods (La Bottega): For non-personalized, standard physical goods, the customer has the right to withdraw from the contract within 14 days of delivery, provided the food items remain perfectly sealed in their original packaging.

6.2. Exclusions: The right of withdrawal is strictly excluded for personalized goods (Adoptions and Favors) and for services consisting of immediate digital delivery paired with charitable donations (Solidarity Adoptions), as specified on the Shipping and Returns page.

6.3. In case of defective or damaged products, please consult the Shipping and Returns page.

7. Legal Guarantee of Conformity

7.1. The products are covered by the legal guarantee of conformity (Arts. 128-135, Consumer Code). In case of defects, the customer can request a replacement or refund by contacting info@adoptyourolive.com within 2 months of discovering the defect.

7.2. Regardless of the condition of the trees and the production yield, Adopt Your Olive will provide oil of the same cultivar and quality as indicated in each product's description.

8. Customer's Obligations

The customer guarantees the correctness of the data provided for the order, shipping, and personalization. Adopt Your Olive is not responsible for errors resulting from incorrect data.

9. Intellectual Property

9.1. All contents of the site (e.g., photos, videos, texts, certificates) are the property of Adopt Your Olive and may not be copied, distributed, or used without written authorization.

9.2. The customer may not resell or commercially exploit the received materials (e.g., certificate, plaque, Member ID).

10. Limitations of Liability

10.1. Adopt Your Olive is not responsible for delays or damages caused by couriers, except as provided by the legal guarantee.

10.2. In case of events beyond the control of Adopt Your Olive (e.g., natural disasters), the company commits to providing alternative solutions.

11. Dispute Resolution

11.1. The contract is governed by Italian law.

11.2. For consumers, the competent court is that of their place of residence or domicile. For non-consumers, the exclusive jurisdiction is the Court of Foggia.

12. Changes to the Terms

12.1. Adopt Your Olive reserves the right to update the Terms by publishing the changes on this page. Customers will be informed by email in case of substantial changes.
