1. Shipping Zones and Costs
1.1. We offer free shipping throughout the European Union (EU). Some remote islands may be excluded.
1.2. For other countries, please contact info@adoptyourolive.com for a custom quote.
1.3. Shipping costs are included in the package price displayed on the website, unless otherwise indicated.
1.4. Corporate & Wedding Orders: For bulk orders, shipping terms and costs are calculated specifically based on volume and destination and will be included in your final custom quote.
For shipments to non-EU countries, any customs duties, import taxes, and local fees are the sole responsibility of the recipient and will be requested by the courier upon delivery. We have no control over these charges.
2. Processing and Delivery Times
We believe you should enjoy your adoption experience immediately. Therefore, we do not have waiting lists based on seasons.
Processing Time
Your complete Adoption Kit (including the personalized Certificate and the Olive Oil) is prepared and shipped within 5 business days of your order, at any time of the year.
Note for Corporate/Wedding events: Production and delivery timelines for bulk orders are agreed upon individually during the quotation phase.
Estimated Delivery Times
Once the package leaves our farm, the estimated transit times are:
- Italy: 3-5 business days.
- Europe (EU): 5-10 business days.
- Non-EU countries: subject to customs clearance.
Times may vary due to external factors (e.g., holidays, customs delays). We will contact you in case of significant delays.
3. Right of Withdrawal
3.1. Pursuant to Art. 59 of the Italian Consumer Code and EU Directive 2011/83/EU, the right of withdrawal is EXCLUDED for:
- Personalized goods: Adoption certificates and custom labels printed with your specific name.
- Sealed goods opened after delivery: Extra virgin olive oil, for hygiene and health reasons.
- Services whose performance has already begun: The symbolic adoption and periodic updates begin immediately after the order.
4. Damaged or Defective Products
4.1. Products Damaged in Transit
If you receive a product that is visibly damaged during transport (e.g., a broken bottle), please contact us promptly and in any case within 7 days of receipt at info@adoptyourolive.com, attaching:
- Order details.
- A clear description of the problem.
- Photos of the damage to the product and packaging.
If the damage is confirmed, we will provide a free replacement immediately.
4.2. Product Conformity Defects
For any product conformity defect not related to transport damage (e.g., oil quality issues), the terms of the Legal Guarantee of Conformity described in our Terms and Conditions apply, which allow for reporting the defect within 2 months of discovery.
